Ride Leader Incentive Program for 2021

Our club is happy to announce a ride leader incentive program for 2021! This program has been developed to both incentivize new ride leaders to offer interesting rides as well as thank those who have provided great rides for the past 55 years. Any club rides for 2021 which are posted on the MHBC calendar will be tallied.

MHBC is a 100% volunteer organization. Our ride leaders are the main reason our club survives and having more, multi-level rides will enable the club to thrive. If you have a route you enjoy please share it with other club members by leading a ride.

Ride Leader incentive program:

· End of the year award for anyone who had led 15 rides or more: $100 gift certificate from a local Bike shop or a donation to charity of your choice.

· End of the year award for anyone who had led 10 rides or more: $75 gift certificate from a local Bike shop or a donation to charity of your choice.

· End of the year award for anyone who had led 5 rides or more, get $50 from a local Bike shop or a donation to charity of your choice.

· End of the year award for anyone who had led 3 rides that are D, C or 20 – 25-mile, non- hilly C+ rides, gets a MHBC, individual membership for 2022

If you would like to gain rider leader skills or have questions contact Bill Miller at (845) 332-5922 or wvmillerjr@yahoo.com. Also, lots of great information on leading a ride is available here: https://midhudsonbicycleclub.com/ride-leaders

Rides must be posted on the MNBC website calendar. Directions can be found on the calendar in the lower left box. The password is the one you received when completing your 2021 club membership registration. Also, that can be obtained by emailing mhbc.pres@gmail.com.

Ron Gall can answer any questions about how to post to the calendar. Also, he can make any needed changes to a posting already on the calendar. He can be reached at (914) 456-6953 or rongall@optonline.net.

Having each member provide just one ride would greatly increase the rides offered.
