Membership

Our club is changing from a yearly membership to a subscription membership service. New and renewing members will get one year of membership from the date of their sign up. All 2021 memberships expired on Dec. 31, 2021. The new enrollment information can be found on our website or by clicking this link: Membership enrollment

Spring Fling - Save the Date

The Spring Fling will be held on Saturday, May 14 @ 9:30 am at the Red Hook Rec Park on Fruit Bud Lane, Red Hook. There will be multi level rides, lunch and a club meeting. This is always a fun event for the beginning of our riding season.

MHBC TRIP – BIKE MAINE PLUS

AUGUST 21-29, 2022

SAVE THE DATE! 

Our club is planning to coordinate a few days riding in the Boothbay, Maine area with the BikeMaine2022 Weekend event. Riders can do either part or the entire week. The registration for the BikeMaine 2022 part, August 26-28, is now open and it fills up quickly.BikeMaine2022 Registration

Bike Maintenance Tip

If you are riding scram disk brakes, it is recommended to flush the brake system once a year. This is due to that Scram uses DOT (automobile) brake fluid. The fluid is hydroscopic so the boiling point becomes less as the water level increases in the fluid. Shimano uses mineral oil which is not hydroscopic.
