Ride Leader Incentive Program for 2021
Our club is happy to announce a ride leader incentive program for 2021! This program has been developed to both incentivize new ride leaders to offer interesting rides as well as thank those who have provided great rides for the past 55 years. Any club rides for 2021 which are posted on the MHBC calendar will be tallied.
MHBC is a 100% volunteer organization. Our ride leaders are the main reason our club survives and having more, multi-level rides will enable the club to thrive. If you have a route you enjoy please share it with other club members by leading a ride.
Ride Leader incentive program:
· End of the year award for anyone who had led 15 rides or more: $100 gift certificate from a local Bike shop or a donation to charity of your choice.
· End of the year award for anyone who had led 10 rides or more: $75 gift certificate from a local Bike shop or a donation to charity of your choice.
· End of the year award for anyone who had led 5 rides or more, get $50 from a local Bike shop or a donation to charity of your choice.
· End of the year award for anyone who had led 3 rides that are D, C or 20 – 25-mile, non- hilly C+ rides, gets a MHBC, individual membership for 2022

Rides must be posted on the MNBC website calendar. Directions can be found on the calendar in the lower left box. The password is the one you received when completing your 2021 club membership registration. Also, that can be obtained by emailing mhbc.pres@gmail.com.
Ron Gall can answer any questions about how to post to the calendar. Also, he can make any needed changes to a posting already on the calendar. He can be reached at (914) 456-6953 or rongall@optonline.net.

Winter Zwift Rides with the club
As the nights draw in and chances to ride outdoors start to tail off, the club board want to encourage a sense of community through the winter months by organizing Zwift meet-ups on a regular basis.
Steve Dickens has agreed to lead as many of these as possible over the winter months. The plan is to have a ride every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6pm. Please check the club calendar for any changes to the schedule.
For you to able to join the meet-up you need to follow Steve on Zwift so he can add you to the meet-up. His Zwift name is: Steven Dickens.
The rides will be a hour long, no-drop rides (you can set a feature in Zwift to keep the group together) so riders will be kept together regardless of rider performance. Steve will try to switch the courses up week to week. The rides leave at 6pm sharp so please think about getting on to Zwift and setting up your trainer at least 15-minutes the start time.
Please also download the Zwift companion app to your phone so that you can join the group chat during the ride.
