Fall Round Up & Annual Club Meeting

Join us for our fall round-up event to ride, eat and vote for next years club officers and board members. Also, ride leader incentive awards will be presented. Sign up and ride details on the club calendar .

There will be four rides, B, C+, C & D, with leaders. We will be having a pot luck lunch at 12:00 PM, in the church, if you wish to attend but not ride. Award presentation & voting will follow lunch. Sign in opens at 8:30 am. Rides leave at 9:00am. Print your own cue sheet or download the routes to your device.

NOTE: THIS YEAR, AS AN ADDED FEATURE, THERE WILL BE AN OPTIONAL SCAVENGER HUNT FOR THE C AND D RIDES WHERE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE CHALLENGED TO IDENTIFY ITEMS HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT ALONG THE ROUTES.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there! Rain cancels the rides but we can still show up for lunch at noon and to vote since we will be indoors.

MHBC ELECTIONS for 2023 Board

The Mid-Hudson Bicycle Club will hold our annual elections at the Fall Roundup on October 1, 2022. All the information can be found at MHBC Elections

Ride Leader Incentive Program Awards

Ride Leader incentive Awards will be presented at the Fall Round Up on Oct 1. Although awards will be given on that day, the program for this year will continue until December 31, 2022. Anyone who is eligible can still be recognized at a later date.

Thank you to Ron Gall & Jason Klock for organizing the fun Maine cycling trip. Several days were spent cycling in the Boothbay Harbor area. This was followed by the “Bike Maine” weekend sponsored by the Maine cycling coalition.

Club COVID Policy Update

The Board has revised and approved MHBC's COVID-19 Policy. It is available to read on the Club website: MHBC COVID Policy

Membership

Our club is changing from a yearly membership to a subscription membership service. New and renewing members will get one year of membership from the date of their sign up. All 2021 memberships expired on Dec. 31, 2021. The new enrollment information can be found on our website or by clicking this link: Membership enrollment

*All new members receive a welcome call from our new member coordinator.

Membership is important for insurance coverage on our club rides. Any rider is welcome to one, introductory club ride. To participate in subsequent rides, club membership is required.

Ride leaders are always needed. If you enjoy participating in group rides please consider leading a ride. Check the club website in the info section for ride leader guidance. Also, any ride leader would be happy to answer any questions.

The MHBC is only as good as our rides. And our rides are only as good as our leaders!
