Please join us for our fall round-up event to ride, eat and vote for next years club officers. There will be A/B, C+ and C rides with leaders.  If you wish to attend but not ride please join us for lunch which includes hot food and pizza.  Drinks will be provided as well as utensils, napkins, etc.  We would appreciate it if folks could bring a salad or dessert to share and if it needs to be kept cold, a cooler as well.  Indicate what you are bringing in the comments section when signing up. Election of club officers will follow.

A/B, C+, & C rides leave promptly at 9:30am.  Plan on being at the VFW Hall by 9:00am.  Print your own cue sheet or download the route to your device. 

Sign up on the club calendar under appropriate ride level. Or if just joining us for lunch indicate that in the comments section of the main post on the club calendar.

Recently on a ride, one of our riders noticed a problem with the carbon rim on their bike. While this type of rim failure is not limited to carbon rims, with the number of club members riding on carbon wheels, we thought it important to include a picture of what this type of failure looks like.

Also, most failures involve the rear wheel which takes the brunt of wear. This is a good example of why you should check your equipment on a regular basis!!
